How Proscalpin works
Finasteride is primarily a type II-5-reductase inhibitor. Hence, it is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. 5 alpha reductase is the enzyme that transforms testosterone into dihydrotestosterone which causes death of the follicle. Once dead hair follicles fail to grow hair again. Therefore, Proscalpin works by inhibiting this enzyme and slows down the balding process.
How to take the drug?
Take one tablet with a full glass of water once a day.
