Letrozole is a non-steroidal aromastase inhibitor with the selective effect (does not disturb the metabolism of other similar substances). Aromastase inhibitors lead to the maximum decrease in estrogen levels. The medicine is used to treat some types of breast cancer. It also helps prevent the cancer from returning repeatedly. Letrozole decreases the amount of estrogen by blocking the enzyme (aromastasis) to participate in their formation.

In athletics and bodybuilding it is used for decreasing estrogen values, while slightly increasing the testosterone level. The large amount of anabolic steroids is aromatized, which means that the process brings many negative side effects, such as acne, water retention in the body or gynecomastia. For bodybuilders we mean the reduced level of estrogen at lower risk of negative estrogenic effects. Letrozole is suitable for the strongest volume or form of steroid cycles. It is also a great help in the pre-competition diet period, when it will help you shape your muscles in a sharper look.

DOSAGE:

Generally recommended is the dose of 2.5 mg tablets once a day. The tablet is washed with water or other liquid. Bodybuilders use the dose of 5 mg, separated into two parts. In the available literature, it is possible to find even the dose higher than 25 mg, but there is a risk of loss of sexual appetite. Tablets are consumed regardless of food.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Similar to all drugs, Letrozole can also cause side effects, which however, they do not show by everyone. Side effects are usually mild to moderately severe in nature. Most of the side effects are related to the decrease in the level of estrogen.Most commonly they are high temperatures, headaches, hair loss, weakness, sensitive skin, or vision problems.
